At The Millet Lovers, we are committed to delivering your food products fresh, safely packaged, and on time. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping methods, timeframes, costs, and handling practices to ensure you receive the best service possible. 

1. Shipping Locations:

​We currently ship to the following areas:

  • Domestic: We deliver to all states within India, including both urban and rural areas.

  • International: We offer international shipping to selected countries. Please refer to our International Shipping section below for more details.

2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times:

  • Domestic: Delivery within 1 to 2 business days for standard shipping.

  • International: Delivery within 15 to 20 business days, depending on customs processing in the destination country.

2.2. Expedited Shipping: For faster delivery, we offer expedited shipping options. Delivery times for expedited shipping are:

  • Domestic: Delivery within 1 to 2 business days.

  • International: Delivery within 10 to 12 business days, depending on the destination. 

 

2.3. Same-Day or Next-Day Delivery: In selected cities, we provide same-day or next-day delivery for perishable and urgent items. Orders must be placed by 04:00PM to qualify for this service. Please check availability in your area at checkout. 

 

2.4. Local Pickup: We offer a local pickup option for customers near our facilities or retail partners. You can choose this option at checkout and pick up your order at The Millet Lovers' Office during business hours. 

 

3. Shipping Costs:

​Shipping costs are calculated based on your order’s weight, size, and destination. Here’s an overview of how we handle shipping fees: 

3.1. Domestic Shipping:

  • Standard Shipping: Starting at ₹30. The final cost will be displayed at checkout based on your order size.

  • Expedited Shipping: Additional charges apply for expedited delivery. Costs start at ₹90. 

 

3.2. International Shipping:

  • International shipping rates vary by country. You will receive an exact shipping quote at checkout based on your delivery address and order size.

  • Customs Duties and Taxes: For international orders, any additional customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping fee. 

 

3.3. Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on domestic orders over ₹599. Free shipping applies to standard delivery only. Expedited shipping options are available at an additional cost. 

 

4. Perishable Items and Temperature Control: 

Ensuring the freshness and safety of perishable items is our top priority. To maintain product quality, we implement strict temperature control and packaging procedures: 

 

4.1. Temperature-Sensitive Packaging: All perishable items are packed in insulated packaging with gel packs or dry ice to ensure they remain at the correct temperature during transit. This packaging prevents spoilage and maintains the integrity of the product until it arrives at your doorstep. 

 

4.2. Expedited Shipping for Perishables: Perishable items are automatically shipped via expedited methods to ensure timely delivery and freshness. These items typically arrive within 1 to 2 business days after shipping, depending on your location. 

 

4.3. Delivery Signature Requirement: To protect perishable goods, some deliveries may require a signature upon receipt to ensure that the package is delivered directly to you or a household member. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery. 

 

5. Order Processing Times:

5.1. Processing Time: Orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days after they are placed, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order is processed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

 

5.2. Delayed Orders: In rare cases, orders may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather disruptions, high demand, or shipping carrier delays. If there is a significant delay, we will notify you via email with updated delivery estimates. 

 

6. Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information for your package. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your delivery on our shipping partner’s website.

  • For domestic orders, tracking updates are typically available within 28 hours after shipment.

  • For international orders, tracking information may be limited once the package reaches customs in the destination country. 

 

7. International Shipping Policy:

​We proudly ship to a number of international locations. Please note the following details for international shipments:

 

7.1. Customs and Duties: International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

 

The Millet Lovers is not liable for any delays caused by customs clearance processes in your country. Customs processing times may vary, and this is outside of our control.

7.2. Restricted Items: Due to specific regulations in certain countries, some of our food products may not be eligible for international shipping. We will notify you at checkout if any items in your order are restricted for your destination country.

8. Shipping Issues and Lost Packages:

​We work diligently to ensure your orders are delivered on time and in perfect condition. However, if you encounter any shipping issues, please contact us for assistance.

8.1. Lost or Delayed Packages:

  • Delays caused by incorrect addresses, customs, or weather events are outside of our control, but we will work with you to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

We will do our best to update the address before the package is shipped, but we cannot guarantee changes after the order is processed.

For domestic buyers, orders are shipped through registered domestic courier companies and /or speed post only. Orders are shipped within 0-7 days or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation and delivering of the shipment subject to Courier Company / post office norms. Meher Sang Foods is not liable for any delay in delivery by the courier company / postal authorities and only guarantees to hand over the consignment to the courier company or postal authorities within 0-7 days rom the date of the order and payment or as per the delivery date agreed at the time of order confirmation. Delivery of all orders will be to the address provided by the buyer. Delivery of our services will be confirmed on your mail ID as specified during registration. Return and Exchange Policy

At The Millet Lovers, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We take pride in providing high-quality food products and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. However, if there is an issue with your order, we offer a clear and fair return and exchange process.

1. Return Eligibility:

​Due to the nature of our products, we accept returns and exchanges under specific conditions:

1.1. Perishable Goods: Because of food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of perishable food items unless they are damaged, defective, or incorrect. Examples of perishable goods include:

  • Fresh or frozen food products

  • Prepared meals

  • Items that require refrigeration

 

Perishable items that arrive in an unsatisfactory condition (e.g., damaged or spoiled) are eligible for a refund or exchange. Please contact us within 2 days of receiving your order to report the issue.

 

1.2. Non-Perishable Goods: For non-perishable items (e.g., pantry goods, packaged snacks, and other shelf-stable products), we accept returns or exchanges within 3 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • The product is in resalable condition.

 

Non-perishable items returned outside of these conditions will not be accepted.

 

1.3. Sale or Discounted Items: Items purchased on sale or at a discounted rate are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.

3. Exchanges:

3.1. Defective or Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged or defective, you can request an exchange for the same item. Contact us within 2 days of receiving your order, and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent at no additional cost.

3.2. Incorrect Items: If you receive the wrong product, contact us within 1 days, and we will arrange for an exchange or a refund. Return shipping for incorrect items is covered by The Millet Lovers.

Non-Perishable Exchanges: If you wish to exchange a non-perishable item for a different product, you can do so within 2 days of purchase, provided the product is unopened and in resalable condition. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs for exchanges not due to damage or defects.

 

4. Refunds:

4.1. Refund for Perishable Items: If a perishable item arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, you may request a refund within 2 days. We may ask for photos or documentation of the issue before processing the refund.

4.3. Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Products that are returned damaged or with missing parts not due to our error.

  • Products returned after the 1-day return window.

 

4.4. Shipping Fees: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged, defective, or incorrect items).

7. Return and Exchange for Wholesale Orders:

7.1. Return Eligibility: Wholesale returns are only accepted for damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Non-perishable items can be returned for store credit within 4 days, subject to approval.

7.2. Exchange Process: Wholesale partners should contact their account manager or our customer support team for return authorizations and to arrange for an exchange or credit.

8. Reporting Issues with Orders:
